The
Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal
service organization, with over 1.7 million members. The Knights
provide members and their families with volunteer opportunitites in
service to the Catholic Church, the community, families, youth and the
elderly.

Our
local Knights of Columbus Council is council number 6371. Our group was
started in 1972 by 62 conscientious parishioners who wanted to do more
to live out their faith. We serve the St. John the Baptist Parish in
Waunakee, and St. Mary of the Lake Parish in Westport. Our name,
Fathers Nellen Council, honors two priests who were brothers that were
instrumental in founding our council. You can contact us by email
at rraemisch@tds.net.
For more information about our council, please see our Council History.
Practicing
Catholic men over 18 who would like to be part of a great organization
are welcome to join our council. We meet monthly in our council
chambers in the lower level of St. John the Baptist Parish, 209 South
Street, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
