World Economy
General: That the world economy may be managed according to the principles
of justice and equity, taking account of the real needs of peoples, especially the
poorest.
The Churches in Africa
Missionary: That the Churches in Africa may be signs and instruments of reconciliation
and justice in every part of that continent.

MEMBERSHIP
Many thanks to all Brother Knights for their Dues and support for "Penny a Knight
a Day" and "Culture of Life Fund." If you had not had a chance to drop off you dues
please contact Bob Zellner at 849-8559.

Knights of the Month
Congratulations to Dan Endres, Keith Clemens, Vince Schaaf, Mike Unger and Pat Murphy.
These Brother Knights have been hard at work improving our Council Chambers and
the entrance for several months. Great work guys!

Family of the Month
Congratulations to the family of Gerry and Amy Daniels! Gerry is an active member
of the Knights of Columbus. He helps run the KC Roller Skating events. He is a Lector
and Eucharistic Minister at St John's. He is also a member of the Men of Christ.
Finally, he is active in the youth sports community in Waunakee. He helps coach
both youth football and basketball. Amy leads the Children Liturgy of the Word program
at St John's. She also works part time in the Saint John's School kitchen. Their
3 children (Jarred, Bridget, and Brianna) all attend Saint John's School.

CHARITY RAFFLE
If you need more Charity Raffle tickets – We have more. Tickets can be mailed to
the Council or dropped off at Neil's Liquor. Please contact Paul Endres (235-2814)
for more information.

Camp Randall Hockey Classic
Once again our council had the opportunity to operate one of the St. Dennis concession
stands during the Camp Randall Hockey Classic. Both the women's and men's hockey
teams won their games on this day and our council was able to raise monies. We had
a great day of brotherhood.

|
Men's Basketball
Please join the KC's on Thursday nights at 8pm at St. John's School Gym for Basketball.
|
|
KC Bowling Tournament
Sponsored this year by Council 1709 – South Milwaukee and held at the AMF South
Park Lanes in South Milwaukee. Good Luck to the Waunakee Council 6371 Bowlers on
March 20th and 21st.

Campaign for People with
Intellectual Disabilities - better known as the "Tootsie Roll Drive"
The 2010 Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities will be held the weekend
of April 30th thru May 2nd. Please contact Fred Riederer 849-9204 for more information.
