Knight of the Month - Dennis Hampton
Dennis handled the food served Sunday, May 16th at St. John's School for the Year of the Priest reception. He has also been nominated as our new Deputy Grand Knight.

Family of the Month - Fred and Jan Riederer
Fred serves as our Warden and coordinated the KC Tootsie Toll fundraiser this year. In fact, his entire family has helped out with the event by collecting donations. He also coordinates the annual KC Server Recognition event for St. John's and Mary of the Lake servers. He is an active participant in all we do and also plays on the KC softball team.

New Chasuble & Stole - Msgr. Gunn
The new KC priest chasuble presented to our priests at the reception held May 16 at St. John's School cafeteria to conclude the Year of the Priest. This will be used for funerals and the Memorial Mass held in November.

Nicholas Rizza -Troop 46 Eagle Scout Project - 5/15
Our support of community youth continues with George's son creating a bench and improving the Memorial site for the Unborn at St. John's Cemetery.

KC State Golf Tournament - June 19th & 20th
Sponsored by Woodruff Council #7827 at Trout Lake Golf Course (10 miles north of Woodruff). Our council contact is Bob Patt 849-5009.

Kel on Wheels Benefit Drive - July 17th in Decorah, IA
This is a benefit to help Brother Kelly Koenig in his fight with CBD - a rare neurodegenerative brain disease that has no known cause, treatment or cure. If you would like to help him and his family check out the website at: http://www.guitarz.com/kelonwheels/index.php

Waunafest 2010 Food Stand - July 22nd - July 25th
This is your chance to contribute on one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Be ready to help when the committee calls on you. Sign-up sheets will be at the June meeting.
