KNIGHT OF THE MONTH is Seamus Murphy. Seamus and his wife of 19 years, Antoinette,
have four children. Seamus is a Third Degree Knight who joined our council in 2008. He
helps with Waunafest, the pancake breakfast, the 2nd and 3rd Degree, Relay for Life and
is a Eucharistic Minister. His most satisfying volunteer work is praying the Rosary at
the Manor. Seamus recently commented, "The folks really appreciate it and I know the
time we spend means so much to them. It is also a parenting opportunity. My children
are learning not to forget the people living at the Manor and they learn to pray the
Rosary." Congratulations Seamus. Our council is stronger because of you!

I wish to thank you for having faith in me to lead our council the last two years. It
has been a fantastic experience. Our council is blessed with members who step-up for
leading and supporting our programs. Special thanks to the officer group who endured
long meetings and helped set direction for our council. Congratulations to our new
Grand Knight, George Rizza. He will do an excellent job. You are in good hands!
God Bless all of you.
