KNIGHT OF THE MONTH is Bernie
Cleary. In a quiet way, Bernie does great work for our council. Last year he planned
our golf outing and will be doing the same this year (see upcoming events). Bernie
helps with feeding the homeless and visits at the manor. Rumor has it that Bernie
is the "go to person" whenever the Chamber has any questions about our community!
Congratulations and thank you Bernie for all you do for our council and the community.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR DISTRICT
DEPUTY
This month I begin my 4th and final year as your District Deputy. As always I look
forward to the challenges ahead. I would like to congratulate both the Waunakee
and Oregon councils for making Star Council. They both but on a last push to gain
their membership and insurance members.
Three of my five councils will have new leadership guiding their council. This is
an exciting time for all of us. With new leadership come new ideas. We will have
a chance to share those new ideas at the District Meeting coming up July 31 at St.
Andrews in Verona at 7:00 p.m. This is our opportunity to get all 5 councils leadership
together to develop a strategy for this new fraternal year.
Finally I am always in awe at all the volunteer time you put in to your community,
church, family and youth and have tons of fun doing it.
Have a great year! Vivat Jesus! Bill Brosius

BROTHER KNIGHTS, I am honored
to be in Fathers Nellen Council 6371 and am excited about serving as Grand Knight.
Our council is blessed with talented membership who truly lives out charity, unity,
fraternity and patriotism. I will do my very best to maintain our programs while
looking for opportunities to grow and improve. Thanks to Marshall Frey for his enthusiasm
and hard work over the past two years. He will be a tough act to follow. Thank you
to outgoing officers Frank Kosmach, Pat Gage, Harold Schara and youth athletic chair
Joe Williams.

Fraternally yours,
Jim Tillman
