KC CHRISTMAS DINNER - Wednesday,
Dec. 19th- school cafeteria, starting at 7 PM. Bring your spouse or special
guest. Widows of KC members are welcome. Please contact a KC member or myself
if you need a ride. Our dinner will be catered by Delitalia.

Ellen Adler for the loss of Roman, her husband, our Brother Knight.

KNIGHT OF THE MONTH is Jim
Kluck, who planned, organized and made the annual Thanksgiving dance another great
success. Thanks Jim and Heather for all you do for our council and parish.

|
WAUN-A-FEST 2007 Vern Meier
reported that we had a fantastic result, $8,918.00 net gain! Thanks again Vern,
Keith Clemens, Darrell Kutchmarek, Kevin Kearney and Bob Zellner for your leadership.
Also, thanks to Gary Ziegler, Joe Endres, and Gary Endres for special donations.

THE THANKSGIVING DANCE,
November 10. Jim Kluck led the event. Brian Kust served as "Prize Collection Master."
Once again, many members lent a hand with the bar, set-up, tear-down and all the
rest. Thank you for the spouses who baked the desserts!

SIX OF OUR BROTHERS EARNED their
Second and /or Third Degree – Congratulations to Andy Beckerjeck, Ed Gilkes, Dennis
Hampton, Scott Nerat, Don Statz and Rick Raemisch. Rick did an outstanding job organizing
our participation. Thanks Rick!

THE ABBY NIEMUTH BENEFIT BREAKFAST
was held November 11. 533 people were served. Our council did the cooking. Don Ripp
fired-up the griddle. Dick Marshall and Frank Kosmach took care of the rest. Thanks
to all the helpers. We will keep Abby and her family in our prayers.

MEMORIAL MASS was celebrated
November 17. Thanks to Jim and Jean Elvekrog who planned the evening. Thanks to
Monsignor Gunn, Fr. Eric., Paul Wiesler, Marshall Frey (choir leads), and our men's
choir! It was an honor to have this Mass and to read the names of departed Brother
Knights.

ST. JOHN PARISH AUCTION,
December 1. We staffed the bar, made a donation to help offset expenses and provided
the soda. Rick Maier organized. Thanks to all the volunteers who braved the crazy
weather!

HOLDAY RAFFLE TICKETS are
enclosed. 3 for $25 or 1 for $10 – these make great Christmas gifts! 95 prizes totaling
$5,000. Please fill out the stubs with your payment and 1) place them in the collection
basket at Mass, 2) leave them at the school office, 3) drop them off at Neil's Liquor,
or 4) mail them to the KC's, PO Box 322, Waunakee, WI. Winners will be drawn in
late January. Please contact Mike Siehoff with any questions. Good luck!

KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS
This year we'll be offering vehicle magnets after our Masses. Don't forget to install
your KC "Keep Christ in Christmas" sign from last year. Spread the word, it's all
about Christ!

someone interested in joining our council.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST January
27, 2008. Please mark your calendar and call Frank Kosmach or Dick Marshall to sign-up
for your favorite task.

LIFESAVERS FOR LIFE This
will be held after our Masses, a January weekend TBD. All proceeds will go to support
life – the last couple years we donated to the Elizabeth House to help mothers.

|
|
