BROTHER KNIGHT CARL "TULLY"
DIERICKS passed away May 20th. Our council tradition is to honor our deceased
members by sending a Mass memorial to the Apostolate to the Handicapped. We offer
our sympathy to Tully's family.

KNIGHT OF THE MONTH is DENNIS
HAMPTON. Dennis has been a St. John's parish member for 20+ years. He joined
our council in April 2007. Dennis was a leader at our April 19th bowling tournament
celebration. Because of his work, the attendees enjoyed a great evening. Dennis
helps with many other council events and supports St. John's in many other ways.
Congratulations!

OUR COUNCIL DONATED TO THE STATE
COUNCIL for Catholic Education (PKD) in the amount of $1178.00. This was made
possible because many members donated $3.65 or more when paying their annual dues.
For the second straight year we earned the award for donating at least $3.65 for
each registered member in our council. Thank you for your generosity.

THE 2008 BOWLING TOURNAMENT
LEADERS met with the State Committee on May 10. Our council hosted the meeting
at the Village Center. A great amount of time has been spent on the tournament records,
issuing prize checks, creating reports and many other post tournament details. Once
again, tournament leaders stepped forward to get the job done. Thank you to everyone
who helped make this a huge success for our council.
